Hank,

Is yours the car that was on RT 17 near Yorktown before the body went to Baltimore? I recall seeing the car there in 1977.

Thanks!

Wesley

Hi...Yes its the same car. BSM got it because it was identical to a Baltimore 13 window
semi convertible. There is one sister Baltimore car as you may know at Seashore.
Thats Baltimore 5748. BSM has asked many times over the years for Seashore to donate it back to BSM (it was part of the Baltimore collection at one time but how it got to Seashore is a whole other story i won't get into here) But Seashore has wanted to keep it in their collect. Both 390 and 5748 were built at the same time at Brill. BSM had it for 40 years
and only a tiny bit of work was done on it. They decided to donate it to a museum who
would take it and restore it. The Hampton History Museum got it from BSM in 2013 and it was moved to Hampton in 2017. We've been working on the restoration since then. Keith Bray is helping us with the restoration from time to time.

To post photos, make sure that the photos are on the same device you are using to make the post, go down to "upload attachment", hit "browse", find the photos you want in your device's file manager, click on a photo, it will show up next to the browse button (where it currently says "no file attached), then hit the "add the file" button, repeat with any additional photos you want, that's it. You are a lot more likely to get the attention of someone who has the items you are looking for that way then by making them write an email.

One is from 390 the other is from BSM 4533 which uses the same. 5748 at Seashore also has the same fixtures.
