A local business might be interested in getting a caboose (van to some of us!). It doesn't have to be a particular road or era.
It should be transportable, restorable, in reasonable condition, with trucks. Brantford, Ontario area.
Please send me a pm.
Thank you.

There's one currently posted for sale on facebook in Bradford West Gwillimbury, Ontario for C$20,000. Looks like a former CPR wooden caboose. Interior has been converted but it's still on its wheels.

If this is just for display outside a business I would strongly encourage finding a steel caboose. Wooden cabooses are higher maintenance and would deteriorate much quicker.

Thanks k5. A friend restored a CNR wooden van a few years back, but had to move and sell it. I drive by it often. It is very much going backwards now, although still in decent shape.
They are not for the faint of heart because, like any wooden structure, they cannot be let go for too long.
