Post subject: OT- The hitchin' continues
PostPosted: Fri Jun 21, 2002 12:37 pm

I am VERY pleased to announce that tomorrow evening at 6pm, Miss Angel Garske is going to make an honest man out of me. She is evidently no stranger to monumental tasks. The deed will be done at the Savannah Roundhouse, where she was foolish enough to jump under the Goat and help me clean the firebox out approx. 1 1/2 years ago.

Rings for the occasion we turned by ourselves on the 1908 Lodge and Shipley out of a titanium round.

Angel, thank you, for making me the luckiest man on the face of the planet.

Congrats to you both. Now, if only I could find a woman interested in trains. That has also proven to be a monumental task, but then again, it sounds like you did alright, Rudd. Best wishes. Seth Jackson

My best wishes to you and your bride! My wife (non-railfan) and I will celebrate 25 years in September. Just remember, you're getting married in a cathedral of steam!

Reception at Vinnie's? Wish I was there to buy you guys a pitcher of Killians. May your paint scrapers be always sharp, may your bolts never twist off, and, most importantly, may your acetylene tanks be always full. Seriously, though, congratulations! I wish you and Angel all the best.

Rudd, I'd wish you luck but you don't need it, you already have your Angel!

Congradulations to you both!

My Grandfather, who was married for 58 years, always said that he cried at weddings, when he thought of all that he knew that they had to find out. After 14 years of marriage, all I can say is, Grandpa was a smart man!

Sorry for being a little late on the congratulations, but better late then never. Congrats to you both, and may you always enjoy each others company when dissassembling parts or maintaining the goat.

I can think of any better expression of tur love than a titanium ring. (Sniff) Beautiful. Simply Beautiful!
