Sign me up, too. I might even be encouraged to "jump ship" from the #261 crew if an O5 ever gets back into opreational condition (Just kidding, Steve!!) Seriously, how much did the City of Tulsa PAY for the locomotive when it was placed in their custodial care? I assume that it was a donation, as was the case with probably most of the "park" locomotives that exist today. I can't imagine that the City of Tulsa has spent $35,000 over the life of the locomotive. Or did they fund a portion of the ill-fated restoration and are now attempting to recoup a portion of the monies? Kevin, have them donate it to IRM and then trade it to St. Joseph, MO, Sheridan or Douglas, WY for a REAL O5! Happy Thanksgiving.
