Is there any prototype for the design of the observation car in Polar Express? I do not recall seeing an historical photo of an obs with round end open platform that is shown in the film.

I saw this photo on Shorpy of Pere Marquette Parlor Car #25 which had a "standard" square end observation platform, but with curved glass ends from 1905. Worth noting is the tilt-out windows along the sides of the car too.
