Steamtown: Union Pacific 4012: Cosmetic Restoration Complete

On June 11, 2022, Steamtown National Historic Site hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the cosmetic restoration of Union Pacific 4012. In 2019, Union Pacific 4012 was removed from display to begin the now-complete cosmetic restoration.

never heard of "automative paint".....The locomotive looks great, as it should after over one million dollars....but with not even a roof over it....it wouldn't be long before the weather starts to take it's toll.

Nitpick: There is no apostrophe in "its."

I agree that they should build a shelter for 4012 to protect it from the weather.

It is a seldom used formulation designed to wear very well in food service at the Horn and Hardart chain of restaurants.
