Shame the H&BT got torn up though. Would’ve been a great line for servicing the nearby Raystown Lake.
As part of the old Huntington & Broad Top Mountain RR is IN the new Raystown Lake, that could be quite a unique restoration.
Not quite a trail, but could the only time in the history of the World that a Highway Dept. had to make good on a promise to build a new bridge over an old interurban trolley line where the former structure had been replaced by a dirt fill be when the Electric City Trolley Museum & Station started running on the old Lackawanna & Wyoming Valley's Laurel Line in Pennsylvania?

The bridge in question is at the South end of the Crown Ave tunnel,

BTW the tunnel is also named the Ed Miller Tunnel for the legendary photographer who rode consecutive trips through the Tunnel - 50 years apart. Ed was on the last L&WV run and the first ECTM run.

There was no formal trail but a few people had expanded their back yards onto the ROW. Some off-roaders had been using the ROW also.
