If I were a bettin' man... LOL

I've been debating this one since I began the thread but I believe the updated cabeeses were also finished in Kraft Yellow and generally, only the locomotives were done in Venetian outside of some anomalies here and there like the steam crane #90906's final paint job...

That's not to say the Reading didn't do any of the first-gen diesel repaints in Kraft Yellow, however... LOL

Like Venetian Yellow, you'd be lucky if you can find two pictures where the Kraft Yellow looks exactly alike but hey, this kept me from going on my Dodge truck forum board and talking about effin' politics for a little while at least... LOLOLOL

I noticed you don't have the Erie Lackawanna's yellow identified yet, Eric. I can't say right now this one isn't the same as the Lackawanna Yellow, but EL's certainly looks a lot like another rather famous fleet yellow, Borden Yellow, DuPont 93-24934. Borden used a gray as well so I'll have to see where that one leads next...

Well, this certainly got interesting in a hurry. On this restored 1949 Divco, Borden Yellow does look exactly like the Lackawanna Yellow paint on EMD #103...

Suddenly faced with the overwhelming urge to positively identify this color and see for myself how it relates to the Reading yellows, hopefully this one will get here a little quicker now that the holiday rush is just about over... LOL

Here's the Danbury Mint model and Borden Gray comes back as another Ford gray, 1942 Newcastle Gray, DuPont 93-23133...

Erie Lackawanna's gray is slightly darker than Suede Gray...

Well, this is about as far as I'm going to get with the Erie Lackawanna until my latest chip order shows up. Until then, here's another alternative example of the red on a 1971 Diamond Reo where it is simply called Red, DuPont 6713, on my 1974 chip chart. Like I said before, this color could have a thread all to its own but I'll have to save a few for later when I get back to the EL again. LOL

But in the meantime, here's the Reading's DuPont 93-6202 Green Machine Green as the interior color of an alternative example mystery vehicle the identity of which shall eventually be divulged when my chips get here... LOL

I figure I can always kill time attempting to trace these colors back as far as I can. This is Ditzler IM308, Muzo Emerald, on a 1929 Graham Paige along with a couple of other alternative examples the likes of which we've seen already.

Looks like the guy found a matching hat... LOL

Muzo Emerald is actually a very appropriate name for this color...

Not too blue, not too yellow...

After checking out all that ultra cool Pennsy N6b stuff I discovered I needed to find a picture of relatively fresh Chevy Coppertone appearing a bit darker. Some serious alternative example searching further ensued but here's that...

Here's an intriguing lighter Carnelian Red on the Martin-Senour charts, MS913. I don't know anything about it yet but it does look like it could fit in somewhere on another railroad, perhaps... LOL
