Please Take My Volunteer Survey

Could I ask a favor from those of you who donate your precious time working in preservation? I'm doing some research to learn about volunteerism at our beloved museums. This is 100% anonymous for both you and your operation. I will share the results here after a couple of weeks. It is very short and won't take much time at all.

I wish I was in a situation to provide useful answers to your survey, Tom. Asking these questions and learning from the responses is a very healthy thing for volunteer- based organizations to be doing.

A follow-up survey identifying the reasons people no longer volunteer after many years with the same organization might be enlightening... unfortunately, "leaders" of organizations like that are unlikely to learn from the answers.
