Very curious about the air; are you sure it's 24? Is there even room on a 25T to put all that stuff? I've worked on some FAs with 24RL, and there was so much 'stuff' (valves, reservoirs) in the nose that we were calling it 'the air brake room'. All but a tiny bit went away when we converted to 26-FNL. Like to see some pictures, if anyone has the time-

eshock- yes, we are getting the click when the throttle is opened, and a second one just before the power kicks in. However, where the issue is, is when you go into forward or reverse, it already starts to load, without even opening the throttle.

EDM - I shouldn't say a 24 brake, but it's what i'm used to calling a 24 on the large locomotives I used to run. I'll be out there on Saturday so i'll take a couple interior pics.

We've also found out one of the air tanks rotted out and was removed/replaced with a piece of pipe!! Yeah, we're going to fix that problem over the winter. There is just sooo much moisture in the line, when you blow the whistle you can see the water come out! Going to get it over the pit next weekend and work on it over the winter. Need to check brushes, figure out what's going on with the springs as it slopes down to the front. But that's what the winter is for. Probably do a fluid drain and replace as well. Might as well do it all while we have the time. It'll see some demonstration operation next year, and Ill need to move equipment around in the spring.
