This photo of presumed 1950s vintage shows what appears to be a station of some sort along with what appears to be two-foot-gauge or maybe even three-foot-gauge track to the right, and an odd rail car on said track. Note also North American style crossbucks and what appears to be a drive-through canopy to the left.
This does not appear to match any structures at Edaville or Boothbay Railway Village. Photographer John S. Thomsen was known to have travelled to New England and even abroad.
Can anyone ID this photo's location?

Edaville with the Sandy River rail bus in front of the station.

I agree with Brendan. It's Edaville.

It's Edaville. The bog would be behind the photographer. The station is stil there, but has had a small addition on the side facing the camera, and a larger addition on the opposite wall added.

The ATSF-painted FP10 would be facing the photographer from this vantage point today.

The station in the picture was torn down and replaced with a new building sometime in the last 10 years.
