Yesterday I spent the morning in Mount Union – where the narrow gauged East Broad Top once exchanged with the standard gauge Pennsylvania RR. Did a lot of exploring of the overgrown main yard, the abandoned trackage, and long strings of decaying rolling stock. The thick fog and wet ground cover added to the mood. Amazing, and very sad, to see what once was; mother nature is slowly reclaiming. Follow the link above, the first 14 images in the gallery are from yesterday.

Thanks Matthew!

Several of your photos show cleared sections of dual-gauge track; it looks to me like you photographed the main and the lead into the Mount Union engine house. Those tracks were cleared and repaired several years ago by the Mount Union Connecting railroad, while they were leased from the EBT.
