Pyle National Headlight from a Canadian Pacific Railway 4-6-2 #2209 G1 series
I have no connection to seller or any interest in this sale.
DLS has nice full size equipment for sale from time to time!

Nice item! And, at that price the owner will be enjoying it for a LONG time!

Sure would like a better one for our CPR 1246 (ours has a broken reflector), but that price is a bit steep. More elaborate headlights (side number boards, etc) go for less.

The front closure ring having the alfa/numeric casting mark: "1417 MO" dates this one slightly older than some of the other 1920 -1925 versions and its probably closer to the 1925 year model or later. Around 1925 P-N produced both this and the cast aluminum sloped back versions for years after 1925.

Its the same basic design as the P-N on the Southern 4-6-2 in the Smithsonian, but this one is without the side board parts and visor.
