Mobile App and GPS Tracker for 765

Ever wanted to know exactly where the 765 was? Now you can! For the first time in history, find the 765 anywhere during her 22 trips this year with our brand new mobile app for iPhone and Android phones, complete with a GPS tracker.

Documentary Film Project Announced

We’ll be producing a feature length documentary on mainline steam locomotive operation in the 21st Century featuring exclusive content covering the 765 and its crew on the road in 2012 while featuring stories and media from the four decades since the Society was founded. Videographers, photographers, and professional filmmakers are encouraged to submit their media and content for rewards from the Society and we’re even hiring a select few to give them exclusive access to the 765.

Society Releases New Book

How to Rebuild a Berkshire

Nearly 300 photos of the 765′s rebuilding are now online, complete with a blow-by-blow timeline of everything we did to rebuild the 765 from the ground up between 2000 and 2005 after 14 years of excursion service. Ever wanted to rebuild a locomotive? Take a look at the steps we took, dollars spent, and the incredible amounts of volunteer dedication that brought the 765 back to life after 12 years of dormancy.

If I want to see 765 this Saturday in Bucryus, Ohio, what times will the 765 turn around there?

Next trip leaves in about 20-30, lasts about a half hour one way. Times for tomorrow are 9AM and 12PM.

App worked fine on Android through Google Play, but can't access it on Itunes, and directly accessing the download page on Ipad, it tells you to search for an icon that isn't on the page.

It's a web app, not an app you can download through iTunes. Here's the link. Then on your iPad click the +/'Arrow out of Box' icon that's next to the address bar and tap 'Add to Homescreen.' Hope this helped.
