 Post subject: locomotive cab in Milton Florida

Thought a few members of the forum might find the continued use of this locomotive cab in Milton Florida interesting.... Cab is located at the West Florida Railroad Museum....

Anyone know what type of locomotive and what road this cab came from ?

Definitely an L&N cab, possibly from an 0-8-0 but can't verify that for sure. Look for a class plate on each side. That will at least tell you the wheel arrangement. The number could still be under all that paint. L&N used old cabs as storage sheds at several yards around the system.
