I happen to have a picture of a sign in CNR's Spadina Roundhouse, indicating all the lubricants to be used on 6060. I'll type up the whole thing. The short answer is, it calls for "Galcar Oil" for Journal Boxes.

Thanks for the list, Joe! It brings the old steam lubricants into a reasonably modern form.

We use Galcar All-Year in our journals, available from the local Imperial Oil/ Esso dealer. Not cheap, but designed for the job.
