Without being some asinine doofus here, is it possible that someone is confusing the PRR class K5 steam locomotives (of which only two were built) with the Nathan K5 [and choose an suffix acronym, such as H or LA] air horn? The two steam locomotives were built in 1929 and 1930, and did NOT have a "s" suffix, as the PRR had discontinued its suffix for superheated steamers by then. The photos I have of 5698 and 5699 show what appears to be a standard PRR passenger whistle.

Len, there's a problem....if you listen from 0:42 and on, you can clearly hear that the bell is being rung manually, but the K5s had automatic bell ringers...

PRR, I sent you the wrong Audio clip. I got them mix up when adding titles for the file.

I'll send a Audio file to PRR he can post it on line for you guy's. I found the right Audio clip . When I was marking the audio clips with the title I mix up one and Two.
