Melcher Brothers, in Durango, CO, scratch built the trucks for the historic D&RGW cars at C&TS after reengineering D&RG's blueprints. I believe they were getting ready to retire a couple of years ago, but they may be able to point you in the right direction for new construction options. Regardless, if you want new trucks, you better have a fat wallet.

For a passenger car of this vintage (or a replica of one) I recommend seeking out an old CB&Q caboose for its trucks. These wood-bodied cabeese (waycars on the Q) tend to fall into disrepair. I think there had been one for sale in Oregon in the last year.
