Post subject:  Tamper tools

I'm in need of information.

1. Does anyone know of a Harsco/Tamper "Vibratool" tamper (or similar machine) that's in a scrap yard or perhaps out in the weeds behind the shop, never to run again? I need several tamper picks.

2. Are there any firms out there that reconditions tamper tools?

3. Any shops that manufacture tamper picks and sells them?

Thanks for any help.

Try Ballast Tools (BTI) for this stuff. I think they can recondition as well as supply new parts. ballasttools.com They are in Missouri.
