Post subject:  Crossing gate parts wanted
Our group is attempting to restore a WRRS Type D crossing gate mechanism. It is largely complete and in good order, but we are missing the entire hold clear mechanism (the ratchet wheel and the pawl assembly).

Is there anybody who has these parts and would be willing to part with them? Does anybody know where they might be obtained?

The corresponding Model 10 parts might also be of interest. These wouldn't fit, but it might be possible to adapt them.

Here's a drawing of the type D motor and hold clear mechanism. The key parts that we need are the ratchet wheel and the spring clutch (along with any other parts that belong to the ratchet wheel assembly). We're also missing the hanging bracket and the pawl, but these parts are less critical as they can easily be fabricated. As the drawing applies to both type D and type B mechanisms, type B parts would presumably do the trick.
