| Post subject: | Wanted - Flat Cars |
We are looking for a number of 50-60 flat cars for a project. The can't be more than 60' in length or less than 50'. The condition of the deck is not important and we are able to truck if needed. Please let me know if you have anything available or any good leads. Tom Gears McHugh Locomotive |

Do you need the entire car with trucks, or just the deck? |

If labor, gas, fuel and materials are free, you could likely get some free 60' boxcars from the U.S. Navy and cut down the sides - but there is a vitamin A hurdle you would have to navigate. After remediation and cutting down, you might be able to recoup some expenses by selling the scrap. Won't cover truck and crane fuel though. |
