| Post subject: | Streetcar 390 project still looking for H&K seats |
The streetcar 390 project is close to having a complete set of seats for the car but we are looking for 5 more. We have 13 out of 18 needed. We are looking for the same type of H & K seats used on Chicago surface streetcars or Chicago 4000 series el cars. I have pictures of what we have if you think you may have some. (Ohio Railway Museum has car 4449 for sale but will only sell the whole car, Connecticut scrapped a 4000 series car a while back but i don't know if they saved the seats) We also have 7 St. Louis type streetcar seats available (were bought as back ups in case we can't find the H&K seats) These are generally similar to the H&K sets but a little different. |
