I recently acquired a Davenport Builder's plate and I'm looking for info on what it came off of. The number is 2306, which puts it just before the Rock Island 44 toners. Original paint looks to be black, with yellow added later. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the detailed answer. The last number is definitely a "6" and not an "8" meaning it falls into your second response. I am slightly confused still though as I can find no rosters that list a Missouri Pacific Davenport #863. Seems the MP 44-ton switchers were lower in the 800 series. |

Matt, You may find a transfer date in the 2nd firm roster, if there is one, which may help locating the disposition date from MOPAC. Harry |
