Reposting this notice only to give preservationists an opportunity to secure artifacts or parts relevant to their missions. There is an incredible variety of hard-to-find stuff here, but I would describe it as "long on variety, shallow on depth". Items range from a K5LA air horn and several steam whistles to wig-wag and rotating-stop-sign crossing signal mechanisms and spares to headlights to a console for a GE U33, station furniture and fixtures, steam locomotive parts (turbogenerator, Mars light, throttle levers), switch stands, and the like, as well as the usual lanterns, keys, caps, signs, advertising, and whatnot. Internet bidding is possible. I have no financial ties to this offering. http://www.dirksoulisauctions.com/cataloglinks April 6th and 7th. Good luck. |

Was anyone able to get approved for this auction? I've been trying for 3 days. |

I was able to get approved for this auction. I think that it took a day. I followed some of it as it just closed down about 6:30PM. I could not believe the prices!! I did not buy anything and I wish that some of my items were in this auction!!! |

I finally got in through Proxibid instead of live auctioneers. Missed what I wanted but like you could not believe the prices! |

How were the prices? We were swamped this weekend with no time to follow. Thanks, JK |
