Post subject:  Subway Train for Movie

I am working on a movie shooting in the New York City area. I am on a quest to find a R series Subway car or something that is related. The car should be unrestored, and could be just a shell.

We are looking for a 1930’s vintage Subway car, ideally of the NYC MTA R series.
The car could be the cab only, and does not have to be complete. A shell could even possibly fit the bill. For purposes of filming, the train will be static, and used on a stage located in Long Island, NY. We are seeking a single car.

-Truckless.
-We do not need seats,
-

We could either purchase or rent the car.

Unless you have a lot of $$$ to move a preserved subway car, (A lot of the 1930's cars are ether long gone preserved or waiting to be preserved) It would be cheaper to make a fiberglass shell.
