I have 35 pieces of B & O China dating from 1930 and from both china companies. The earliest piece is stamped "patent pending" (Thomas Viaduct) by Lamberton China. Schenango China pieces date prior to 1950. All pieces are as described, show which china company made each piece, and if the original Scammell China company (Lamberton China) made it before 1930 or after 1930. The items by Schenango China were made prior to 1950 as that is the date Schenango started dating their product. Photos are available upon request via email. Contact h_k_nicholls@peoplepc.com for any, or all, photos. All pieces are complete and not chipped except for three pieces with some damage. These three pieces are separate from the main collection and may be made part of the over all bid or separately. Postage will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Seller will package the pieces in padded, double boxed containers to protect the china as best possible. Insurance is suggested and the responsibility of the buyer. All pieces were bought at the commissary in Baltimore by a Baltimore newspaper reporter some time in the 1930’s. They were used as everyday china and passed on to a granddaughter some time ago. These pieces being offered are the best pieces after elimination of worn china. All pieces are in near mint or mint condition. Harry Nicholls |
