<P>Heres another question: I have seen tracks that mash down into the roadbed as a train runs over it, and I mean several inches down. Is this considered normal or is this sign thats the track/roadbed needs repair.<br>Thanks<br>Alan<br> adatmsu@aol.com |

<P>depends upon the class of track - number of trains, weight of trains, speed of trains.<p>In general, the desire is almost no pumping of track.<br> |
