Post subject: B&LE #643 - Where is it and what happened?

I have been wondering what ever became of the Bessemer & Lake Erie 2-10-4 #643. Does anyone have any idea? I know that Steamtown tried to acquire it and then another group from the Pittsburgh area bought it. Have not heard another word. Is it at least under cover? It would be a true tragedy if this wonderful locomotive was left to rust like so many others, especially since it came so close to coming back to life. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Last I knew it had been moved again within the old P&LE shop complex but is still stored outdoors there.

This engine is back under a open ended, roofed
metal building across the tracks from the old
P&LE Diesel shop. The metal building was part of the old Pressed Steel Wheel complex of years ago. She is still in a stored condition. Rumors
say she may have "lost" some parts to souvenir
collectors too. Another sad story.
