Post subject:  Two Great Western Dinkys missing

Regarding the recent thread on the Fort Collins Dinky 0-4-0T, which is believed to have been scrapped with the sugar factory there... Two others are missing from Bayard, Nebraska. These were Davenport Nos. 1871 and 1998. The former, was slightly smaller than the other, and had a wooden cab. The last photos I've seen of it show it stripped of parts and derelict. Was it scrapped afterward? No. 1998, the last to operate there, was reportedly bought and moved away in the 1980s, but no one seems to know where. Does anyone know? Anyone have photos? Also, does anyone have recent photos of the Lovell, Wyoming engine, which is reportedly on display somewhere in that city?<br>
