Can anyone point me in the direction of an elevation drawing of a S-160???
I build live steam locomotives, and think that
a 2-8-0 of this size would be nice in 1:16th
or 1:24th scale.
(BTW, I know that LBSC described one back in
the 40's, but, he was not known to be true to
prototype)
john.stewart@crc.ca |

I think I have a drawing of an S-160 and I know I have pictures. I am a Chief Warrant Officer stationed at Fort Rucker, AL but I obtained a significant amount of railroad info while I was stationed at Fort Eustis. If you want you can call me at work (334)255-3011 or home (334)565-3048 and I can talk to about the info I have and the info you need. By the way, there is an operational S-160 #1702 on the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and I had the opportunity to ride behind it as it pulled an excursion train from Dillsboro to the Nantahalla Gorge and back.
shafferr@rucker.army.mil |
