Louisiana Steam Train Association has been notified that it now has to vacate its current location by May 1, 2026. While most of the equipment can be moved, apparently two cars cannot be moved, and are offered for sale, i guess. The Louisiana Steam Train Association / LHRT is actively relocating all operations and as part of this move, we must reduce and clear equipment from our current yard. As a result, two Pullman heavyweight sleepers are now available—but time is extremely limited. We are seeking serious qualified preservation groups who can act quickly to secure and relocate these cars. Glacier – Pullman Heavyweight Sleeper (1924, Southern Railway) • Lot #4763, Plan #3410 • 12 Sections / 1 Drawing Room Glen Pond – Pullman Heavyweight Sleeper (1928, Southern Railway) • Lot #6182, Plan #3523L • 6 Compartments / 3 Drawing Rooms Offered as-is, where-is Recipient responsible for all loading & transport Truck Transport Only – NOT suitable for rail movement Must be removed within 30 days |

It looks like a steam tender is in danger, its photo was appended to the sleeper facebook post. https://www.facebook.com/745Steam/posts ... FCVp1zVKGl ICG 100586, A&WP 8304 according to LSTA (not sure how that is possible, unless ICG bought it for diesel fuel storage, I remember one like this in Bloomington IL).
