Originally built in 1959, the transformed National Steel Car has been christened Savannah Sunrise. Following a meticulous years-long restoration process to return the parlor car to Amtrak rail ready service, the Savannah Sunrise took its maiden voyage to Washington, D.C. for Railroad Day on the Hill.
