C&NW 1385 Milestones

The voice of C&NW #1385 was heard over Sauk County today for the first time since 1998. Test firing was done and the first grade crossing was blown today. Here is a screen grab from the video that can be seen on the facebook page of Mid-Continent Railway Museum. You'll be able to hear the whistle along with the echo off the Baraboo Range....................mld

That's such great news, Mr. Deets! While I can't get the video to load, I imagine everyone in town was so pleasantly excited to see the 1385 drifting across that crossing, blowing her whistle for all to enjoy!!
