Post subject:  Flexolith/Tucolith for composite floors

Hello, what is everyone using as a substitute for Flexolith/Tucolith in 2025? The two companies that I have in my notes, E.H. O’Neill and Tamms, both appear to be out of business. I did come across a single mention of a company called “Dex-O-Tex,” which may have a similar product.

Please note, I am not looking for Mastipave, which is a different formulation with a faster set time, and not recommended for a full floor replacement.

Thanks in advance.

I’ll also note that I can’t seem to find a patent number or detailed description of what exactly Flexolith/Tucolith was composed of. Either would be a help. Thanks.

You've probably seen this already: https://www.euclidchemical.com/fileshar ... xolith.pdf

Edit: According to what I can understand on this sheet https://www.euclidchemical.com/fileshar ... 04NC_C.pdf it is composed of Bisphenol A Polyglycidyl Ether Resin.

Yes, the line of thinking the last time I researched this subject was that the modern, branded version Flexolith is a different or modified product. “Flexolith” may have been more of a general term for a classification of product than a brand name, but has now become one.

Our original floor had a bright pink tone to it, so I’m guessing brick dust was involved in the traditional mix. The mixed product in terms of consistency and work time was more of a plaster than a concrete.
