Does anyone know where I can get the pump portion or possibly parts for the pump on the electric fuel transfer pump on an Alco 539T? That's the pump the supplies fuel to the individual injector pumps. 64V, 45 psi I think.

We've gotten ex-USATC RSD-1 #8050's engine running well but with a temporarily kluged in pump that we use for pre-oiling. We're working to put the loco back in service.

Thanks in advance.

Since the BB is wonky, you can email me via bigeprod@yahoo.com. That's my throw-away address.

Eric,

All of our ALCOs with 539T engines have Viking fuel pumps. Viking still makes a pump that is a drop-in replacement for their older models. (We went with Viking model FH432.) You might be able to find a local sales rep: https://www.vikingpump.com/

We've used Siewert Equipment up here in the Rochester, NY area for pump parts and complete pump assemblies. You likely have a local rep someplace in Ohio.

Hope that helps!

Whew, actually got logged in.

Thanks Joe. I had a few others contact me with the same info so that's likely the way we'll go. For the record, the original was a FH54 - couldn't find any info on that old model anywhere.
