Scanning some more Kansas City Southern negatives and came across these two from October of 1928. The photos were part of a progress report on the construction of the "Grandview Line", the KCS's construction of its own line from Kansas City to Grandview, Missouri (from 1893 to 1930 the KCS used the SLSF's track to get from Kansas City to the start of its line in Grandview).
