Post subject:  OFF TOPIC (sorta-kinda) Eagle Point Live Steamers

Colleagues, Eagle Point Live Steamers of Chattanooga, Tenn., was overrun by a wildfire this past weekend. Basically the entire railroad was destroyed including scores of locomotives and hand built 1/8th scale cars and coaches. Most track and trestles were swallowed by flames after an illegal leaf burning by a neighbor, driven by winds, ran along the forest floor and up the mountainside.
The resulting losses include storage building train sheds with the contents, ties and rails. Just the rolling stock losses are in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I know we are constantly hit by "begging" for restoration funds, but please remember these dedicated railfans and their total devastation of property. Eagle Point Live Steamers has a website. Pictures are on Facebook, if you can bear to look.

Use this link csme-eprr.com and click "events". The fire damage is shown in detail.
