Would this operation go over the Antioquia Railway? It does go through Cisnero https://www.railsouthamerica.com/blog-p ... y-colombia All in all, sounds very exciting. Will have to go when they eventually open |

From Facebook. Quote: A nearly 24-hour journey marked the beginning of a new chapter for Locomotive #8. Thanks to the management of Vias del Nus, this jewel of the railway was transported from Bogota to the MINCIVIL workshops in Girardota, where it began its second restoration. Now, completely renovated, awaits its final move to Cisneros, where it will be part of the historical and tourist heart of Northeast Antioqueño. Roster info. |

This is the Antioquia Railway and it does go through Cisneros. I visited Cisneros a few years ago and it is a beautiful town in a beautiful part of Colombia. They have been entertaining tourists and transporting locals for years with Motorodillos, a very interesting speeder type contraption powered by a motorcycle. You can see the line on my video linked below. This is where the steamer will eventually run. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibAZXAB34CU&t=92s |
