Good afternoon,

I am wrapping up season one of my podcast. Now, I am looking into albums and other sources of sounds that I plan to use for the next season.

One of those is L&H Railsonics. I don't know if the company still exists, so I want to ask if you would give me any advice on how to contact them or any other organization or individual to see how I can proceed in using sounds from the company's albums.

I look forward to hearing back from any of you.

L&H Railsonics was pretty much a one-man show driven by Hal Lewis of California. A great guy, friendly and jovial, he passed away in 2016.

Brief bio and place where some of his photos ended up:

Reportedly, David Houston at Daylight Sales bought the L&H Railsonics rights long before then, back around 2000. What's been done since then, I have no idea. We're now at the point where even DVDs, never mind audio CDs, are a tough sell.
