Proper People is the name of a group of videographers engaged in Urban Exploration or "Urbex". Normally, their fare is abandoned schools, hospitals, buildings, poweplants etc. (including an abandoned nuclear reactor) and they hint at "creative entry". Recently they did an episode on an extraordinary stationary steam engine, now restored to operation (for demonstration purposes, not water supply) after decades of abandonment. I'll second this recommendation. Very well filmed and very informative. The person who ramrodded this restoration is also a true gem. Very knowledgeable and has a wonderful teaching ability. |
