They are constructing two new buildings at the world's oldest trolley Museum at Kennebunkport, Maine. The South Boston Car Barn was built in 1955; the pole barn has reached the end of its life, so a new larger building is needed. The steel Butler Building with a cement floor will be fully enclosed for the first time. It will house up to nine of the cars used to provide daily passenger service during the summer. The track from South Boston will be reused in a slightly different alignment. The second project is the Maine Central Model Railroad Building. Currently located in Jonesport, Maine; it is the largest HO model railroad in Maine. The exhibit will include a model railroad store for trains and supplies and a Model Railroad Club with plans to add electric railways to the layout.
