Long relegated to a hidden corner of Strasburg Rail Road’s passenger operations website, the Mechanical Services division now has its own home on the web. Please pay a visit. Also, stay tuned for additional content in the form of case studies and periodic blog posts.

Brendan, Very well done. I've long felt that the industry is very fortunate to have a world class company in Strasburg to turn to for any needed assistance knowing the work will be done to the highest standards.

Best wishes for the new site generating lots of new business.

Exciting stuff! Glad to see the hard work from the mechanical services getting more of the spotlight.

Question - on projects where you are manufacturing a boiler, are you coming up with the performance drawings in shop or are those provided and you make fabrication drawings off of those? On projects where you are altering the design of a frame or from the original design, do those need to be reviewed by a professional engineer before construction?

I guess ultimately my question is if any of the drawings that come through the shop sealed by a professional engineer before construction?

I was all ready to give you a list of things to fix but... It looks great!

It's so good to see great endeavors get the web presence they deserve.
