Toledo, Oregon: In conjunction with the Port of Toledo’s Wooden Boat Show, scheduled for August 20 & 21, 2022, Yaquina Pacific Railroad Historical Society will celebrate the centennial birthday of Georgia Pacific 1, 2-8-2. As part of that celebration, museum staff will perform a cosmetic restoration of the locomotive and will fabricate and install a “walk through” allowing the cab of the locomotive to be safely accessed by the public.
