If you read the article or know the history of the line, the car was built for the Southern Pacific and purchased second-had by the SF,N & C Ry.

Also The designer/builder was spelled McKeen.

That McKeen Trailer in Napa was looked at several years ago by members of the Western Railway Museum.

They found the bottom two feet (or more) of the body was buried in cement and decided to pass on acquiring the car body.

As I recall, we advised the Nevada State Railroad Museum, which has restored their McKeen passenger car about the body.

And the Illinois Railway Museum has a McKeen trailer in their collection.

Well we rescued the Trailer Car, and it is now safe in Ramona, Ca.

The car was not submerged in any concrete, and was relatively easy to lift away from the concrete slab. 10 Steel stakes were implanted in the foundation and welded to the body to hold it in place. There was no frame, the bottom 6" of the car was cut away in the 1930's when it was turned into this shed.
