Mr Ashton has posted numerous links to repositories of historic information in several threads - information that could be of great value if it were organized and catalogued. Wondering..... if there could be a sticky to a list sorted by subjects of links that Mr Ashton would manage and control since it seems a passion of his? It wouldn't be much more trouble to have them in one place rather than spread here and there over the board...... |

I like the idea. it's hard sometime to figure out where to post things, as few forums have a "historical" section. |

If your organization is a member of HeritageRail Alliance, you can access an ever-growing library of historic technical information. On the home page menu, click on "For Members", then "HeritageRail Library". Aaron Isaacs, editor HeritageRail Alliance |

RailroadData.com would be more than happy to sort, organize and host those links. We already have an extensive list of tourist railroads and museums. http://www.railroaddata.com/rrlinks/Tou ... seums_USA/ If you can point me to those links, or provide a list of them, I'll be happy to add them. There is no fee for a listing, and the directory is open to anyone, no fees or membership needed. |
