Tom Marshall, the founder of Wilmington & Western Railroad has passed this morning. He was a lifelong steam enthusiast who not only got the W&W started but purchased much of its equipment including CNR 2-6-0 No. 92 and MSC 4-4-0 No. 98. His family estate and collection of Stanley Steam cars is the core of the Auburn Heights State Park which was all donated to the state of Delaware.
