Happy Frigid Monday morning!

As mentioned some years ago here, viewtopic.php?f=1&t=36170&hilit=railbus+erie, some of the volunteers at the Stewartstown Railroad are working on former Erie railbus # 300.

We're doing some work on the air controls, specifically the valve set that operated the rail sweeps. Does anyone have any familiarity with this type of control? Mainly, are parts available, so that if we open the body, we can replace/repair as needed?

One input port, four output. Moving the handle forward or backward depresses 'buttons' on the valve body, directing air through the outputs.

By the looks of it, I think you need to talk to a truck parts supplier. Maybee see if you can find an old Bendix air systems catalog. If it is a bendix valve, there should be numbers cast into it.
