Sorry if this is a stupid topic of discussion, but I can't find on the Internet when most of the Cheyenne Steam shops and roundhouse was torn down for the Union Pacific. I can't find on the Internet when exactly most of it was torn down. Can someone help me find when exactly this happened? Again, sorry if this a stupid question, I can't seem to find it on the Internet anywhere. |

It's all in there. |

The book is rare as hens teeth however Jim Ehrenberger and Jack Wolff have just recently published a book on the Cheyenne steam facilities...cant find a reference to it at the moment, The roundhouse was demolished in stages thru 1966, 78 and 82, a shocking case of poor foresight, the steam shop half demolished in 1979.
