Hello Fellow Members,
Yesterday the last of the Reading Street Railways Tracks have been removed from the route 16 line to Mohnton. As many of you Reading Fans will know this was the last trolley running in Berks County ending service on January 7th 1952. I have saved 42 feet of the tracks plates and spikes in hopes of finding one of the Brill cars that graced the tracks. If memory serves those cars from the 1930's were approximately 25 feet or so. Am I correct? Looking forward to hearing from you knowledgable folks

Here are all four known to exist, of which maybe one is really "available":

Great information Guys! As always Alexandergave me crucial information and I do know of a few other cars. I am wondering if 807 have been scrapped? I know it was being used as a out building on a farm in maidencreek township. I do love this site and the support one can find here

There is a single truck brill near Maidencreek as well, and last I heard it was indeed available. I have the dimensions somewhere if I can find them I will post them.

Well, unfortunately, my notes are unclear. The car has 5' deep platforms and it's either 30' overall with the platforms or 30' plus the platforms for a total of 40 feet.

EDIT - Looking at a photo and knowing the depth of the platforms, I am going to say it's 30 feet overall.
