Still in service on a class one railroad, recently returned to its "As delivered" paint. Kudos to NS for doing this!

Great shots. There's also a SRR painted unit out there as well, but I can't recall the model or road number right now. Man, any train buff simply has to love NS for their devotion to the past. That said, can CSX be far behind? ![]() Hmmm... maybe not. |

The Southern Unit is the first SD40-2 built for Southern, number 3170. |
